Operating Company
“Regene-Tabi” is a media platform born from the idea of reframing tourism not as “consumption,” but as an endeavor to rebuild relationships with local communities, nature, and culture.
This initiative is underpinned by practical experience at the forefront of sustainable tourism and global sustainability. Asueku Co., Ltd., the company responsible for operations, has provided support to corporations and local governments ranging from strategy formulation to implementation within the realms of sustainability and ESG.
The core team responsible for planning and managing this media platform has systematically studied international standards and principles of sustainable tourism, including through training provided by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). Grounded in this understanding of global standards, we engage directly with communities across Japan to plan and operate initiatives that are deeply attuned to each region’s unique context.
We place great importance on constantly asking ourselves what must be preserved and what values should be passed on to the future.
By considering the impact of travel across diverse dimensions—including the environment, society, the economy, and culture—we aim to implement a new model of tourism that goes far beyond the mere dissemination of information.
